Katrin Lee, MS RD CDN CLT

Katrin Lee is a Registered Dietitian, a New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist, and a Certified LEAP Therapist. She is the founder and Registered Dietitian of Simply Nutrition NYC. With variety of nutrition counseling experience, Katrin also received Certificate of Training in Food Allergies from Academy of Dietetics and Nutrition. As a Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT), she is a specialist in managing inflammation caused by non-IgE food sensitivity, which can contribute to Irritable Bowel Syndrome, migraine, fibromyalgia, arthritis and more.

Katrin obtained her Masters in Clinical Nutrition and Bachelors in Nutrition and Food Studies at New York University. She received intensive clinical training at a teaching hospital undergoing NYU Dietetic Internship and became a Registered Dietitian. Beginning her career as a clinical dietitian at an acute care hospital, she developed a solid base of medical nutrition therapy on cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, weight management, eating disorders and food allergies.

In her spare time, she practices yoga and plays badminton. As a foodie, she loves cooking and walking around NYC for food adventures. She enjoys traveling and explores different (food) cultures. Originally from Hong Kong, she has been to Peru, Russia, Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, Japan, Korea, Australia, England, France, Italy and more. (She loves traveling!)

Katrin believes that you eat to live that the way you eat affects how you live. Katrin’s holistic approach with her passion for food and nutrition will not only help you live a healthier life but also a better quality of life.
