Blueberries are in season now! Blueberries are one of the healthiest foods. They are good sources of vitamin C and fiber, loaded with antioxidants that can reduce risk of cancer. Blueberries make great muffins, pancakes and smoothies. You can also make vitamin water with blueberries! Why buy bottled vitamin water when it’s so easy to make with better flavor?
Natural Fruity Vitamin Water
1 cup blueberries, rinsed
1 orange, rinsed, halved and sliced
1/2 gallon (8cups) water
Combine all ingredients and pour in a container. Cover and place in refrigerator for at 4-6 hrs. Ice can be added when serve.
*Noted that this natural vitamin water is ideally to be consumed within 48 hours, since certain vitamins might be lost over time.
